“At 180 kilometres away from the nearest Arctic community of Clyde River, and over 3,000 kms from my home in Caledon, Ontario, Sam Ford Fiord defines remoteness. The jagged granite peaks overwhelmed me as I wielded my brush to document this magical place. I hope this painting conveys the grandeur of this wilderness, so remote that I may be the only artist to have had the privilege to paint it.” - Cory
