“I regularly use canoes as floating studios to get more interesting and intimate perspectives of the land. During my second Arctic expedition, I brought along a Pakboat, a canoe in a bag, hoping to paint an iceberg up close. But the danger of an iceberg flipping made me hesitant. Fortunately, I witnessed this one turn the day before and paddled out for an icy encounter I will never forget.” - Cory
